“Lawrence Krauser’s Slamdance hit Wendall and the Lemon is unlike any film you have encountered and based on the directors novel Lemon, the first novel to be published by McSweeney’s Books. Recovering from a recent break-up, our zesty protagonist Wendell (Todd D’Amour) finds a lonely lemon on the street that quickly upends his entire life. Soon they are going on dates, long walks and snuggling in bed. Unable to separate himself from his citrus companion, he struggles with his co-workers unease and the realization that his beloved is beginning to decay.”
