Charles has been acting in stage, film and television in New York City for almost ten years. A member of Barefoot Theatre Company, his stage credits include Fucking Vigwan (or Swag) and Raft of the Medusa at the Cherry Lane Theatre, NEXT! at the HERE Arts Center, Security at Theater for the New City, and Here. This. Now. at NY Fringe Festival. Film credits include The Assassin, Assata AKA Joanne Chesimard, and The Last International Playboy. Charles has appeared in the television shows Law & Order, 30 Rock and Rescue Me.
A successful commercial actor, Charles has appeared in and voiced national campaigns for companies such as Coca Cola, Home Depot, Burlington Coat Factory, ESPN, Verizon, Wheat Thins and McDonalds, among many others. He also portrays the character of Rico Velasquez in the highly successful Killzone video game franchise on Sony Playstation.
Charles is a graduate of the 2 Year Conservatory Program at Maggie Flanigan Studio.
