Devin E. Haqq/ Producer, Assistant Director

Devin E. Haqq was writer, director, producer and star of the feature film, THE ASSASSIN, which is currently represented by digital content agency Cinetic Rights Management and is distributed online through broadband portal Babelgum. THE ASSASSIN was honored to be included in the Nashville Film Festival, Urbanworld VIBE Film Festival, Pan African Film Festival, the Lake Placid Film Forum, as well as, the IFP-NY Rough Cut Lab.

Mr. Haqq is currently in preproduction on his second feature film as writer and director, UWAKI, as well as producing the feature film FRANCIS OF BROOKLYN. In 2006, Mr. Haqq produced the feature film ALYSSA & SARA. He is also the author of ADEPT VOL. 1 (1st Round Qualifier of the 2005 Project Greenlight Screenplay Contest) and co-author of THE BACCHAE (1st Round Qualifier of the 2007 Slamdance Horror Screenplay Competition).

As an actor, Mr. Haqq has worked in the entertainment industry for over seven years, based out of New York City, making numerous appearances on television, radio, and stage. His credits include: LAW & ORDER on NBC, HBO’s award winning ad campaign SURPRISE, directed by Sam Mendes, numerous commercial ad campaigns for Citigroup, Time Warner Cable, Comedy Central, McDonalds, the U.S. Navy, and the New Jersey Board of Tourism, just to name a few.

Devin is an M.F.A. graduate of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s Professional Actor Training Program.
